No one saw 2020 coming. It has been an anxious time and has caused a lot of anxiety for most whether in your personal, social or business life. Before the Pandemic of Covid-19 transpired, you needed a mind break, holiday break or just your regular vacation.
This virus has caused some hectic lifestyle changes and I am sure most, if not all of you are feeling scared or just burnt out with realization of it all. I am also sure most of you are ready to take the world by storm and end a stressful part of your life that you never asked for. Quarantine is not fun when its mandated and not having the means or ability to see family and friends can be devasting. Some things that we took for granted before 2020 is no longer an option. Getting away from the constant negative news reporting on the Pandemic is a must.
iTravel Global Too Inc (www.itravrlglobaltoo.com) wants you know that you can still travel during this time or craziness in 2022 (two years later). Whether you decide to travel locally, stateside, or internationally; we at iTravel lobal Too Inc has your back. The only problem is, we are STILL in the middle of a pandemic and we have put together a protocol guide to help keep you safe, so you can stay healthy and lower the chances of you or someone else getting sick:
COVID-19 TRAVEL GUIDE
Safety Guide #1: Check Yourself
Before you arrive at the airport or your destination, evaluate your health. Are you feeling lethargic? How do you feel? Is your temperature ordinary? Do you have a fever? A cough? Is your sense of smell normal? Don’t forget to monitor yourself prior to leaving to determine what normal feels like for you.
Safety Guide #2: Mask Up
Wearing a mask is the best and easiest way to avert the spreading of the virus. Wear it everywhere, even on the airplane (at the date of this article, it is mandatory at all airlines upon entrance until you depart the airport) and change your mask every few hours. Dispose of single-use ones and wash reusable masks every night. We also recommend wearing eye googles or other shields for extra protection.
Safety Guide #3: Sanitize Often
You are allowed to carry your own sanitizer. Check your local TSA for the correct amount to carry-on board. Use the hand sanitizer stations everywhere you go while on vacation. Remember to sanitize after touching frequent touch points such as elevator buttons, door handles, escalator rails, TV remotes and more.
§ Don’t forget to sanitize your hotel room: TV remotes, doorknobs and more.
§ Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, then rinse for 10 seconds.
§ Try to keep your hands off your face as well.
§ Bring personal bottles of hand sanitizer with you, as you may not have access to soap and water everywhere.
Safety Guide #4: Social Distancing
Maintain at least 6 feet apart from people (other than your travel buddies) when possible. Follow any lines on the floor that indicate this. This is where the extra face shields or goggles assist you; as you will find even if you attempt to social distance; other people will not respect your space.
Safety Guide #5: Get Checked Out
If you’re not feeling well, get checked out. Many hotels/resorts have professional’s onsite or can direct you to medical help.
